Rest assured that in this short time span, the developer at SureFire has produced several different versions of PSS. Including a System Planner, that runs as a windows service. Unfortunately, the development of PSS is not being supported by its users.

Well, rest assured there are even more improvements and even different applications that work in tandem with pss and System Planner, like process timers. System Planner, Backs up my Website, Downloads logs, checks web pages for changes and the list does not even stop there. I love my software, that is why I do what I can to support it. Oh yeah, migrate from ASP and all that other MS Web App. B.S. Real programmers know how to do it themselves. (Especially with a little help.) (For more information on this definative rant, see linux.org and donate that stoneage PC collecting dust in your garage to them. Shipping shouldn't cost you more than $15 dollars.) Anyone who says different can barely walk down the street, let alone tie their own shoes without MS's permission. Go ahead pay more for less with MS Server systems. You won't hurt my feelings. SQL? <- Definately scalable, something I will do. But it should be avoided whenever possible. Custom interfaces and data servers are far more secure. Why? Because no one but the company, developer, and IT Techs, know how they work.
